Reports indicate that in the first seven months of 2025, Russia exported 1,600 tons of vodka to China, valued at 2.6 million USD, marking a 15% increase in volume and a 53% increase in value compared to the same period last year. Reports point out that in the first seven months of 2025, exports to China accounted for 8% of Russia's total vodka exports. China ranks third among the main importers of Russian vodka, with Kazakhstan (45%) and Georgia (10%) taking the first and second positions, respectively. Reports indicate that in the first seven months of 2025, Russia exported approximately 20,000 tons of vodka, with an export value exceeding 31 million USD. Compared to the same period last year, the export volume increased by 18%, and the export value increased by 36%. According to estimates by Future Market Insights, the vodka market size will reach 44.2 billion USD in 2025 and may grow to 76.85 billion USD by 2035, with an annual growth rate of 5.5%. High-end vodka will account for 56.3% of the market. On March 18, the Russian Agricultural Products Export Center informed the Russian Satellite Communications Corporation that, according to preliminary statistics, Russia exported over 8.3 million tons of agricultural products to China in 2024, with a total export value of approximately 7.4 billion USD. Among the agricultural products exported from Russia to China, the largest export by volume was rapeseed oil (13%), followed by barley (10%), sunflower oil and peas (each 8%), and soybeans (7%). China became the main importer of Russian agricultural products in 2024, maintaining this position for two consecutive years.
