Grain, oil and meal export quotas have been set for new regions of the Russian Federation

The Russian Government has established export limits for grain crops, sunflower oil, and meal from four new regions (DPR, LPR, Zaporizhia, and Kharkiv regions) for 2025. The largest grain export quota is set for Zaporizhia at 1 million tons, followed by Kherson with 800 thousand tons. Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics receive 150 and 140 thousand tons, respectively. These quotas are valid until the end of 2025 for exports outside the Eurasian Economic Union. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia will issue one-time licenses for these exports, and the specific volumes will be managed by the highest official in one of the four regions.

The Russian Government has determined the permissible export volumes of basic grain crops, as well as sunflower oil and meal from 4 new regions of the Russian Federation (DPR, LPR, Zaporizhia and Kharkiv regions - ROSNG) for 2025. The corresponding resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers is posted on the website of the official publication of legal acts. In terms of grain, this measure affected wheat, meslin (its mixture with rye in a ratio of 2 to 1 - ROSNG), barley and corn. The limits on grain supplies are distributed among all these entities. The largest amount will be for Zaporizhia - 1 million tons. In second place in terms of volume with 800 thousand is the Kherson region. For the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, they are set at 150 and 140 thousand tons, respectively. For oil and meal, the limits are prescribed only for the Zaporizhia region - 25 and 35 thousand tons, respectively.
