EU is going for a record harvest of wheat and barley – COCERAL

In the report for September, COCERAL specialists write that in 2025 the total grain harvest in the EU-27 and Great Britain will amount to 306.8 million tons. This is more than the 279.1 million tons collected in 2024, and significantly more than the 300.7 million tons forecast in June. COCERAL, the European agricultural trade association, said wheat production (excluding durum) is expected at 147.4 million tons, compared with a forecast of 143.1 million tons in June and 125.6 million tons last year. The forecast was raised for France, Germany, Poland and Southeast Europe due to favorable weather conditions and higher-than-expected post-harvest yields in almost all regions.
