Jeju Namwon Agricultural Cooperative (Chairman Ko Il-hak) held a pre-harvest inspection and free repair support event for its members at the agricultural machinery repair center from the 9th to the 28th of last month, lasting about three weeks. Approximately 330 farms participated in the event, with inspections and repairs carried out on about 450 harvesters. This inspection, conducted in anticipation of the sharp increase in harvester use during the tomb-sweeping period, aimed to reduce operational disruptions caused by breakdowns and also contributed to accident prevention by conducting safety education simultaneously. The safety education, held alongside the pre-harvest inspection, covered types of potential safety accidents that can occur when using harvesters, preventive measures, and the importance of wearing protective equipment.
