Egyptian Strawberry Prices Dropped in Jan-25 Due to High Supply and Weak Export Demand

Egypt's fresh strawberry prices fell from USD 984.77 per ton (EGP 50,000/ton) in Dec-24 to USD 689.34/ton (EGP 35,000/ton) in Jan-25. This decline is due to weak export demand and an oversupply in the local market, which resulted in increased production stock and downward price pressure.
