Egyptian Green Bean Prices Declined in Jan-25 Due to Oversupply and Weak Demand

Fresh green bean prices in Egypt dropped significantly to USD 98.48 per ton (EGP 5,000/ton) in Jan-25, compared to USD 295.43/ton (EGP 15,000/ton) in Nov-24. The sharp decline resulted from limited export opportunities, high market supply, and weak local demand.
