Union of Farmers' and Livestock Breeders' Unions, after gathering and analyzing, as every year, the data concerning thefts in the countryside, highlights that, compared to 2024, they have decreased by 19.88%. The organization points out that, finally, in 2025, the data would have improved compared to five years ago and, if taking 2020 as a reference, the percentage of clarified cases would also have increased slightly by 5%. The organization emphasizes, however, that the number of clarified cases in 2024, in turn, would have decreased almost as much as thefts, amounting to 21.37%. Union of Unions claims that these figures are a sign that the personnel employed for the rural environment are still insufficient. In this sense, while the number of ROCA teams would have grown to 143 – in 2020 there were 126 – it is still low.
