The Ministry of Agriculture expects growth in production of cereals and pasta in 2025

The Russian Ministry of Agriculture anticipates a rise in the production of cereals and pasta in 2025, driven by increasing consumption and stable prices. The production of pasta from durum wheat is catching up to that of grain from soft wheat. Exports of pasta have also seen a 10% increase over the past year, with Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan being the main importers. The ministry also reported a rise in the production of cereals and pasta in January of this year compared to the same period last year.
