Piura: Renovation of 100 hectares of coffee plantations will boost production in Ayabaca

The Piura Regional Directorate of Agriculture has renovated 100 hectares of coffee plantations in Ayabaca province, benefiting 225 producers as part of the Organic Coffee Public Investment Project. The project not only focuses on the renovation of coffee plantations but also provides technical assistance, improved seeds, and promotes good agricultural practices to enhance the sector's productivity and sustainability. Furthermore, the project participated in the "Buy from Ayabaca" fair to strengthen the marketing of local coffee, with a commitment to improving the quality of coffee and market access for producers in Ayabaca.

As part of the Organic Coffee Public Investment Project, the Piura Regional Directorate of Agriculture has renovated 100 hectares of coffee plantations in 11 areas of Ayabaca province, benefiting 225 producers. The areas affected include Nogal, Paraguero, Hualcuy, Papelillo, Congoly, Toronche, Yanchalá, Tablas, San Ramón de Mangas, Suyupampa, and Lanchepampa. In addition to renovating coffee plantations, the project provides technical assistance, improved seeds, and promotes good agricultural practices to increase the sector's productivity and sustainability.
