The Foreign Trade Bulletin of the Central Bank of Paraguay, reflected that beef exports2, for their part, reached US$ 1,538.7 million, representing an increase of 9.7% compared to November of the previous year, while, in terms of volume, an increase of 6.1% was recorded compared to November 2023 Chile, the main destination for beef, with 37.6% of the total export value, made purchases for US$ 578.9 million and a volume of 111.5 thousand tons as of the eleventh month of 2024. These figures represented a reduction of 4.7% in value and 5.2% in volume. On the other hand, Taiwan, the second most important destination, also registered decreases in both values and volumes of 8.4% and 6.9%, respectively.
