Opening of the market for the export of fishmeal and fat to Bolivia

The Brazilian government announced that Bolivian health authorities have accepted the International Health Certificate proposed by Brazil for the export of fishmeal and fat. This decision is expected to strengthen trade relations with Bolivia, which in 2024 received approximately US$399 million worth of Brazilian agricultural exports. This development is part of Brazil's strategy to open new markets, with 28 market openings achieved in 2025, totaling 328 since 2023, with the effort being a collaboration between the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE).
