Apples, carrots, and some dairy products like butter, cottage cheese, and cheeses also became more affordable. In the meat department, pork and cooked sausage prices fell slightly. Cereals and pasta also saw price reductions. However, not all items became cheaper, as the prices of items such as chicken eggs, salt, and some staples like sunflower oil, black tea, cookies, margarine, and frozen whole fish remained the same or increased.
