Over the next 7-day forecast period, the agrometeorological conditions will be determined by average daily temperatures close to the climatic norms, according to the latest forecast by Lyubomir Marinov from the Agrometeorology Section at the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology. Negative minimum temperatures, leading to the risk of damage to orchards and vineyards, are not forecast. By the middle of the 7-day period, local, short-term rainfall is expected, and by the end of the period, significant rainfall in western and southern Bulgaria is expected. This will improve the moisture reserves in the upper soil layers. The expected gradual increase in temperatures during the period will create suitable conditions for active vegetation processes in autumn cereals, spring crops, fruits, and vineyards.
