(Agraria.pe) Between January and July of this year, Peruvian capsicum exports (peppers and chili peppers) totaled US$ 162,383,000, showing a fall of -4% compared to the US$ 169,791,000 reported in the same period of the previous year. This was reported by the Agroexports Management of the Exporters Association (ADEX), who indicated that in the first seven months of this year, capsicum from Peru arrived at 43 destinations, with the United States, Mexico and Spain standing out, which accounted for 89% of the total. The United States led the ranking with US$ 68,846,000, which despite contracting -15% represented 39% of the total. In second place was Mexico with US$ 47,622,000 with an increase of +8.9% and a share of 29%.
