Argentina has opened the Albanian market for beef exports.

The Sanitary Service of Albania has approved the export of Argentine beef to their country for human consumption, excluding mechanically separated beef. The Argentine establishments eligible to export will be those formally authorized to ship beef to the European Union, in accordance with the pre-listing system agreed with the European bloc. In 2024, SENASA certified the export of 934,977 tons of beef products from Argentina to various international markets, with China, Israel, Russia, the United States, and Germany leading the list.

SENASA received notification from the Sanitary Service of the Republic of Albania regarding the official opening of its market for Argentine beef for human consumption—with the exception of mechanically separated beef—and the approval of the corresponding International Veterinary Certificate (IVC), which will accompany shipments to that destination.
