Record-breaking Agricultural Exports from Vietnam in 2024
Vietnam's agricultural exports continue to shine, setting new records in area, yield, and market reach. In 2024, coffee exports surpassed $5 billion, cashews exceeded $4 billion, fruits and vegetables grew by $1 billion, shrimp reached $4 billion, and rice achieved a milestone of nearly $6 billion.
Cavendish Bananas: A Highlight in the Fruit Sector
Vietnam's fruit and vegetable exports reached $7.1 billion in 2024, a 27% increase from 2023. Cavendish bananas stood out, surpassing Philippine bananas to become China's top choice. Export turnover approached $1.2 billion, growing by 35% year-on-year.
