Why Us?
Who is Gastronomie Italiane?
We are looking for small, exclusively artisan agri-food laboratories of the highest quality throughout the country, which produce for us the best that their land can offer. The entire process is characterized by our careful supervision of both the techno-food processes and the scrupulous choice of raw materials. Only by fragmenting production across over 30 laboratories spread across Italy, can we guarantee maximum specialization for each type of product: tuna from Sicilian tuna fisheries, pasta from pasta factories, tomatoes from Emilian or Calabrian fields or even from Pachino, olives from olive groves Foggiani or from western Liguria, honey from Tuscan hives, vegetables from Lombardy gardens, breadsticks from Piedmontese ovens, artichokes from Lazio harvests, pestos from Genoese mortars, capers from Pantellerian rocks, anchovy sauce from the sea of Cetara and many others.
The Company
Italian production: our selection of laboratories and raw materials is scrupulously carried out in Italy. Direct supply chain: the artisan laboratories develop our recipes and therefore guarantee the highest quality of the transformation and distribution process right from the harvest. Raw material processed fresh: we process the raw material only once a year, that is when nature gives us its seasonal fruits, we do not take anything from the "preserved". When the raw material runs out, unfortunately we wait for the new year. Outside the large-scale retail trade: none of our products enters or will ever enter any large-scale organized distribution, an ethical choice that we do not want to give up.
Our Values
Gastronomie Italiane was created to enhance small land producers, those who work the land every day and transform the products, creating delicacies that only a very small part of which reach our tables. Among these, there are farmers, breeders, processors, fishermen, small businesses, even young people. We value what is not found in large-scale distribution. The added value is that given by the uniqueness of an agri-food item which is difficult to find, except by traveling. We are in contrast with the supply chain and mass purchases, but extremely current. We are the taste of Italian know-how. Love for nature and its fruits characterizes a company that wants to enhance those who embrace these principles and make them their own, every day.
