Fish Box started processing and exporting fresh fish and seafood, chilled and frozen, since 2018 from Dakar, Senegal in West Africa (FAO 34).

After successfully mastering the supply chain, cool chain, production chain, quality control and compliance, we decided to create another production and exporting unit in Mauritania.

In Mauritania, among-st 200 species that can be exported, the most important are the following:

1. Octopus Vulgaris: Our team have an accumulative years of experience of more than 15 years in processing Octopus Vulgaris as IQF beaten Flower style, in blocks and IWP.

2. Royal green spiny Lobster "Panulirus regius": We can export it as live, whole frozen, and as frozen tails (all year round).

3. Pink Spiny Lobster "Palinurus mauritanicus": We can export it as live, whole frozen, and as frozen tails (Season starts January 15 till end June).

4. Cuttlefish "Sepia officinalis" and European Squid "Loligo vulgaris": We can export it as fresh chilled, whole frozen, and cleaned frozen.

5. Pelagic fish: This includes European Sardine "Sardina pilchardus", Golden mullet "Liza aurata",Great barracudas "Sphyraena barracuda", Atlantic Horse mackerel "Trachurus trachurus", White Horse Mackerel "Trachurus mediterraneus",Medeiran sardinella "Sardinella maderensis",Round sardinella "Sardinella aurita",Atlantic bonitos "Sarda Sarda",etc.....

6.Demersal fish: This includesAngola dentex "Dentex angolensis",Bearded brotula "Brotula barbata",Blackspot seabream "Pagellus bogaraveo",Canary dentex "Dentex canariensis",Capitain fish "Pseudotolithus senegalensis",Dogtooth grouper "Epinephelus caninus",Dusky grouper "Epinephelus guaza",Gilthead seabream "Sparus aurata", etc....
