Beekeeping at Heldrastein "Imkerei am Heldrastein"

We are a family owned beekeeping business with about 70 hardworking bee colonies, managed according to Bioland guidelines for organic farming. Current certificates can be found at www.oeko-kontrollestellen.de.

Our headquarters are located in the small village of Herdra (Wanfleet) in the Wella Valley at the foot of the 508 m high Herdrastein. Our apiary is located along the picturesque Wella route and in a small valley in Thuringia and Hesse. In our region, we are involved with the GMO-free Werra-Meißner-Land initiative to maintain a GMO-free landscape. Our scenic surroundings (such as the Nature Park Eichsfeld-Hainich-Werratal) include extensive forests, steep limestone cliffs, meadows, pastures and widely used pastures and pastures for exceptional flowers are blooming. you can taste it! Enjoy various landscapes with our honey!

Some of our bees migrate to other parts of Germany to obtain single-cultivar honey. We offer Phaselia honey from this region, which is characterized by its exotic taste among single-variety honeys.
