Egyptian fresh strawberry season started slowly, with high initial prices of USD 16 per box, limiting demand. As production volumes rose and the market saturated, prices dropped by over 40% month-on-month (MoM) to around USD 9 per box, better aligning with market expectations. Following this adjustment, demand has recovered, and exports to key markets, including Europe, the Far East, and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, have strengthened.
