Chile’s Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG) has implemented a new Work Plan to restart stone fruit exports to Peru, ending a suspension that had been in place since early 2024. Developed in cooperation with Peru’s National Agrarian Health Service (SENASA), the agreement allows Chile to resume shipments of peaches, plums, nectarines, cherries, apricots, and plumcots. This move strengthens Chile’s fruit export sector while ensuring compliance with Peru’s phytosanitary regulations.
