Turkey, the world's third-largest pomegranate trader, faced challenges meeting market expectations due to an unplanned production surge. However, a new USD 3 million modern facility, established through a collaboration between two major companies in Şanlıurfa, aims to boost exports of pomegranate products, including juice, seed oil, concentrate, and fresh fruit. This investment is part of broader efforts, with total assets in fruit juice production exceeding USD 10 million. As a result, a significant rise in pomegranate production and exports is anticipated, enhancing Turkey's position in international markets.
