Ukrainian grain exports exceeded 1 million tonnes in 2024/2025 MY

For the 2024/2025 marketing year, Ukraine has seen a significant increase in its grain and pulse exports, reaching 1.13 million tonnes as of July 10, a rise of 62% compared to the previous year. This includes a 51% increase in wheat exports to 320 thousand tonnes, doubled exports of barley to 134 thousand tonnes, and a 50% increase in corn exports to 673 thousand tonnes. However, flour exports have seen a decrease, dropping by 40% to 1.8 thousand tonnes.

As of July 10, in 2024/2025 MY Ukraine exported 1 mln 131 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 433 thsd tonnes or 62% more than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 320 thsd tonnes, which is 108 thsd tonnes or 51% more than last year. Also, Ukrainian farmers exported 134 thousand tons of barley, which is twice as much as on the same date last year.
