Over the coming week, the weather in Bulgaria will remain typically summery, with plenty of sunshine, high temperatures, and conditions for afternoon thunderstorms in some areas of the country, reports "Meteo Balkans". As early as Tuesday and Wednesday, the atmosphere over Western Bulgaria will be more unstable. After a sunny start to the day, powerful cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will develop, with short but intense rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms expected in many places. In some areas, the storms will be stronger and create conditions for local hail and temporary wind gusts. At the same time, over Eastern Bulgaria, the weather will remain significantly calmer. There, sunny weather will prevail with negligible cloud cover and a small chance of precipitation. A weak to moderate wind from the east will bring some cooling along the coast.
