In total, in 2024, farmers from 38 regions of the country were engaged in the cultivation of industrial hemp. Both agricultural organizations, peasant (farming) households, and individual entrepreneurs are engaged in cultivation. The areas under industrial hemp have increased significantly in the Volga Federal District (up to 9.8 thousand hectares) and in the Central Federal District (up to 4.2 thousand hectares).
