Russian seafood accounted for 29% of total seafood imports, which totaled 651,137 tonnes. Frozen pollock imports increased by 1% to 103,720 tonnes, compared to 102,961 tonnes last year. Frozen pollock roe imports increased by 11% to 13,581 tonnes from 12,274 tonnes. However, frozen Pacific herring imports fell sharply by 44% to 11,971 tonnes, compared to 21,263 tonnes last year. Frozen yellowfin flounder imports decreased by 3% to 9,776 tonnes, while frozen pollock milt shipments remained stable at 9,081 tonnes, compared to 9,041 tonnes last year.
