Russia: The Sakhalin branch of Rosselkhoznadzor conducted research on 9 thousand tons of fish products for export

The article reports that a branch laboratory has conducted extensive tests on various seafood products, including caviar, sea urchin, salmon, shrimp, and canned goods, intending for export to China, South Korea, and Japan. These tests were aimed at ensuring compliance with the technical regulations of the Customs Union and food safety standards. All the products passed the quality and safety checks, meeting the requirements of both the exporting country, Russia, and the importing countries.

The remaining batches were tested as part of production control and at the request of customers. The products were declared for export to China, South Korea and Japan. The branch laboratory specialists conducted 3,187 tests of samples taken from batches of salted and frozen caviar, live sea urchin, chum salmon, shrimp and edible fat.
