Today's global rubber prices rose slightly in the first session of the new week amid extreme weather conditions in Thailand that could affect the supply of this commodity. The Thai Meteorological Department warns that heavy rains from July 11-13 could cause flash floods and flooding. While southern Thailand has suffered severe flooding, Sumatra Island (Indonesia) continues to face drought.
