Russia: Primorsky branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution National Center for Fish and Agricultural Safety conducted research on more than 25 thousand tons of fish products for export in December 2024

The article highlights the results of laboratory tests conducted by the Primorsky branch on various fish and food products, including crab, fish meal, squid, and pollock, with a focus on 222 batches intended for export to China. The tests aimed to ensure compliance with the Customs Union's standards and safety requirements, covering toxic elements, microbiological indicators, and parasite purity, among others. All batches passed the tests, meeting the necessary regulations and satisfying the customers and the Primorsky Interregional Administration of Rosselkhoznadzor.

Of the tested batches, 222 were intended for export to China. The Primorsky branch laboratory specialists tested 93 batches of crab, 35 batches of fish meal, 34 batches of squid, 27 batches of pollock and other types of products. A total of 8,907 studies were conducted to check for compliance with the standards and safety requirements for fish and food products established by the technical regulations of the Customs Union.
