Despite earlier promises, Polish farmers have not blocked truck movement at the 'Medyka-Sheghini' checkpoint, according to Andriy Demchenko of the State Border Service of Ukraine. While passenger traffic at the border has decreased from 4 million in August to 3 million in September, there is no indication of an increase in passenger flow. On weekdays, 80,000 to 85,000 people cross the border, with numbers rising to 100,000 on weekends. This comes amid European farmers' concerns over Ukrainian grain affecting the EU agricultural sector, yet Polish farmers have not taken action to block the border as previously stated.

The movement of trucks by Polish farmers has not been blocked at the "Medyka-Sheghini" checkpoint, despite the corresponding promise.
