Peruvian tangelo exports total US$ 8.2 million until August of this year

From August records, Peru's tangelo exports reached 7,567,943 tons, valued at US$ 8,208,732, with the United States being the primary market and accounting for 49% of the total exports. The Netherlands, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Colombia were among the other significant destinations. The main tangelo exporting companies during the period included Procesadora Larán, Consorcio de Productores de Fruta, Coexa, Agroindustrial Huamaní, and Asesoría e Inverisones Muva.

As of August of this year, Peru has exported 7,567,943 tons of tangelo for a FOB value of US$ 8,208,732, according to information from the consulting firm Agrodata. According to this source, the main destination of these shipments was the United States, where shipments were made for US$ 4,056,270 (49% of the total Peruvian shipments).
