The average price also rose +4%, standing at US$ 2.81 per kilogram. Of the 12 countries where the product arrived this month, Spain was the main buyer of Peruvian artichokes, with a 46% share, narrowly taking the lead from the United States. 3,595 tons were sent to the Iberian country for US$ 11 million and an average price of US$ 3.05 per kilogram, which meant an increase of +43% in volume, +73% in value and +21% in the average price. The main Peruvian exporters to Spain in the month analyzed were Agrícola Miranda S.A.C., with a 21% share; and Novoliz S.A., with 16%.
