Kazakhstan is ready to export grain, flour and vegetable oils to Thailand

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenov, and Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, Phamtum Vechaiyachai, have discussed the potential for enhancing trade relations and implementing joint investment projects. The talk focused on increasing the export of Kazakh agricultural products to Thailand, including meat, vegetables, fruits, grain crops, flour products, vegetable oils, and other agricultural goods. In 2023, trade turnover between the two nations reached 367 million dollars. After the meeting, an agreement on economic cooperation was signed, aiming to broaden the scope of cooperation in areas such as trade, economics, and investment. The potential of utilizing Kazakhstan's transit potential through the Trans-Caspian route was also explored.
