Kazakhstan has 12.4 mln tons of wheat left in its bins

According to the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan, the country has grain and pulse stocks amounting to 14.97 million tons as of March 1. The country's exports and imports of various grains for the year 2024 include 5.9 million tons of wheat exports and 1.6 million tons of imports, 1.6 million tons of barley exports and 211 thousand tons of imports, 212 thousand tons of corn exports and nearly 18 thousand tons of imports, and 104 thousand tons of rice exports and 19 thousand tons of imports. The upcoming 23 International Conference BLACK SEA GRAIN.KYIV, scheduled for April 24 in Kyiv, will focus on the further development of the grain sector in the Black Sea and Danube region.

The data on grain stocks was announced by the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan. According to the information, as of March 1, the stocks of grains and pulses in the country amount to 14.97 mln tons. Additionally, according to official data, in 2024, wheat exports amounted to 5.9 mln tons, with imports at 1.6 mln tons. Barley exports totaled 1.6 mln tons, and imports were 211 thsd tons.
