Latest food price update: Good news over the weekend, the prices of garlic, most chilies, and premium compact rice have dropped.

Panennews.com - The price surge of garlic and curly red chilies dominated the movement of staple goods in the DKI Jakarta region during Sunday trading (14/6). The pressure of significant price increases this weekend also overshadowed the food crop sector such as most varieties of medium rice and bulk and packaged Minyakita cooking oil, amidst the trend of falling prices of beef, broiler chickens, and red bird's eye chilies. According to operational data from the Jakarta Food Info website, the garlic commodity recorded the highest price surge reaching Rp7,629 to Rp46,000 per kilogram, followed by curly red chilies which climbed Rp5,212 to Rp61,667 per kilogram.
