Iranian experts assessed on site the possibility of growing pistachios in the Kashkadarya region (Uzbekistan)

The leaders of Uzbekistan's Kashkadarya region have been in discussions with Iranian pistachio expert Javad Heidarpour about a project to establish pistachio plantations in the Dekhkanabad region. Heidarpour, who is the head of the Ziba Pouyan company, recently visited the area to further discuss the project with local authorities. During his visit, he also inspected a local pistachio plantation. Bilateral meetings with the region's administration and forestry management are planned to move the project forward.
