The year 2024 was a significant milestone for Brazilian exports in the beans and pulses sector, with the country achieving a new record. However, repeating these numbers will not be an easy task. This success is the result of years of study, research and dedication. Since 2005, entities such as IAC, EMBRAPA and IDR, instigated by IBRAFE, have invested in the development of new cultivars. Brazilian producers, in turn, have shown a willingness to test and cultivate new varieties of beans, while exporters have invested in the IBRAFE/APEXBrasil project, investing in training, infrastructure, technical assistance and, in many cases, financing.
