Gyeonggi Province Agricultural Technology Institute-supported traditional liquors, five in total, win the grand prize and excellence awards at the Our Liquor Evaluation Meeting.

Gyeonggi Agricultural Technology Institute's manufacturing technology transfer or quality improvement support for five traditional liquor products resulted in three grand prizes and two excellence awards at the "2026 Republic of Korea Our Liquor Evaluation Conference." Hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and organized by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT), this evaluation conference assesses various types of liquor, including takju, medicinal liquor, clear liquor, distilled liquor, fruit liquor, and other liquors, through expert reviews. The product that directly applied the technology developed by the Agricultural Technology Institute and won the grand prize in the medicinal liquor and clear liquor categories was 'Dam Gold' from Naeoldam Co., Ltd. in Seongnam City. This product applied the mixed grain nuruk manufacturing technology developed by the Gyeonggi Agricultural Technology Institute, utilizing rice and mixed grains instead of the conventional wheat-based nuruk to create a diverse range of flavors.
