Thirty local rural instructors have completed a three-day training course at the Goryeong Area Agricultural Research Institute, focusing on the diagnosis and control of potato diseases and pests. The annual training, organized by the Rural Development Administration, covered topics such as diagnosing and controlling potato viruses, major pests, and menstrual disorders in potato cultivation. The course also discussed the development of new potato varieties by the Korea Food Institute. The training included both theoretical and practical education, and the instructors found it helpful in expanding their knowledge in the field.

For the past three days, training was held for 30 local rural instructors on the topic of ‘Diagnosis and control of potato diseases and pests’ at the Goryeong Area Agricultural Research Institute of the National Institute of Crop Science, Rural Development Administration, located in Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do. This is field training provided by the Rural Development Administration every year to improve the capabilities of public officials at provincial agricultural research institutes and city/county agricultural technology centers. On the first day, training was provided on how to diagnose and control potato viruses.
