Collection and processing of BVTV drug packaging in the coffee and pepper specialized cultivation areas

Lâm Đồng has coordinated with the Global Coffee Forum to launch a program for collecting and processing BVTV tobacco packaging in coffee and pepper growing areas.

Lâm Đồng currently has over 1 million hectares of agricultural land, with a significant demand for fertilizers and plant protection chemicals. However, there is still a situation of misuse of agricultural supplies, excessive application of chemical fertilizers, and overuse of pesticides, causing waste and degrading the soil, affecting water sources and the living environment. In response to this situation, the Lâm Đồng Department of Agriculture and Environment has implemented various propaganda and training activities to raise awareness and guide farmers to properly follow the procedures for using fertilizers and plant protection chemicals. Local authorities have also expanded the model of reusing agricultural by-products such as coffee grounds, corn stalks, and branches to produce organic fertilizers as a partial replacement for chemical fertilizers, thereby saving costs and protecting the soil.
