China is about to inspect coconut growing areas for export, what do coconut growers need to prepare?

A Chinese working group will conduct online inspections of fresh coconut export facilities in Vietnam, including 24 growing areas and 12 packaging facilities, on September 11 and 12. The inspections aim to ensure compliance with Chinese regulations on pest management and hygiene. The Vietnamese Plant Protection Department will support the inspections, and localities are expected to prepare necessary documents and facilities. The inspections will focus on aspects such as cultivation measures, pesticide use, hygiene, and environmental records.

Inspecting 24 growing areas and 12 packaging facilities Mr. Nguyen Quang Hieu - Deputy Director of the Plant Protection Department (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) said that on September 11 and 12, the Chinese working group will conduct online inspections of growing areas and packaging facilities (CSĐG) of fresh coconuts exported to the Chinese market. Inspection time is from 8:00 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. Inspection duration is 30 minutes/growing area, CSĐG. According to Mr. Hieu, the online inspection team will randomly inspect 24 growing areas and 12 CSĐG, of which, Ben Tre province has the most inspected CSĐG growing areas, including 13 growing areas and 5 CSĐG; Tien Giang province has 3 growing areas and 2 CSĐG inspected.
