Current world records in wheat, rapeseed, or barley set the bar very high. Records stimulate the imagination, but in practice, the stability of yields is decidedly more important. Is 18 tons of wheat per hectare possible? Anticipating the facts a bit - let's just imagine a wheat yield at the level of 18 tons per hectare. Or rapeseed, where we exceed 8 t/ha.
