Ambitious plans for the largest blueberry farm in Europe

Romania is seeing significant growth in intensive blueberry farming, with the construction of the continent's largest blueberry farm by local company Agricrafters. The farm is expanding from 40 hectares to 1,000 hectares as part of the Salonata project, requiring substantial investment and the creation of a 15,000 m3 water storage tank. The strategy involves growing blueberries under uniform conditions to ensure equal growth, potentially making Agricrafters a global leader in blueberry production and significantly impacting the European market.
